Clancy Construction is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to work with us in Cork.

Location

This is a Site based role in the Cork area.

Reporting to 

The Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Checking plans, drawings and key information within the project
• Liaising with supervision of subcontractors and Colleagues across the project.
• Helping to plan work efficiently ensuring strict deadlines are met.
• Assisting in Quality control and safety measures on site.
• Dealing with unexpected technical difficulties which may arise and helping to successfully close them out effectively.
• Responsible for the Quality management and BCAR requirements for your area of responsibility
• Overseeing quality control and safety matters on site and ensuring that regulations, Clancy standards and best practice(s) are always adhered to.
• Attending regular meetings and keeping yourself well informed at all times.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience : 3 years – ideally within a main/specialist contractor.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.
• Demonstrated well developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
• Team player with ability to build effective relationships at all levels - making the project and its outcome better, because of their input.
• Computer literate and familiar with MS office.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety management and quality management.
• Strong ability to learn quickly, with the confidence to use that learning on the project.
• English proficiency is required - spoken and written.
