OPAL-RT is looking for an ambitious business development professional who will participate in the success of the company. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting business development of new markets and new clients in China. The candidate is expected to have have excellent communication skills (Mandarin), good organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and within a dynamic work team.

Under the supervision of Business Development Manager of OPAL-RT China and with tight collaboration of the global Technical Sales team. The specialist joins an established team of seasoned Technical Sales and Marketing professionals to participate in our global Sales and Marketing functions. This includes interaction and follow-up with customers, input and verification on sales proposals, and marketing communication efforts company wide. 


Main Duties:

•    Help sales workforce in China to prepare technical proposals 
•    Perform technical presentations and target demonstrations of OPAL-RT products and their project-linked application toward our new and potential customers; 
•    Coordinate and attend demonstrations of OPAL-RT equipment at potential customer sites; 
•    Coordinate product information and marketing documentation in cooperation with technical departments 
•    Monitor and participate in customer relations efforts and processes; 
•    Participate in customer visits, industry trade shows and international conferences dealing with power system simulation and equipment verification/testing; 
•    Other duties as assigned. 


Requirements:

•    Education: B.Sc or M.Sc in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering;
•    Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a technical or customer management role. Experience in power systems, power electronics, aerospace, automotive and/or a related simulation field is required;
•    Required knowledge: experience with MATLAB, RT-LAB and its suites is considered an asset;
•    Language abilities: excellent Chinese and English skills (oral and written). 

•    Required skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Able to work under pressure, results-oriented, positive attitude, great team player, enjoys helping colleagues. 

•    Location: Nanjing city, Jiangsu province.

Please note that this position involves traveling internationally (approx. 25-30% travel) when judged safe to do so.
