Join our kitchen team as a Line Chef/Chef de Partie and help deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced culinary environment. You'll work on food preparation, dish assembly, and maintaining our high standards while contributing to smooth service operations.

CHEF DE PARTIE DUTIES
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes to recipe specifications
- Execute cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, frying) with precision
- Ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards
- Follow order details, special requests, and dietary restrictions
- Keep workstation clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team and support coordinated operations
WHAT YOU NEED
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie/ line chef
- Legal right to live and work in Japan (typically via a Working Holiday Visa)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays, as per the requirements of the establishment
- Ability to handle a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (such as kegs or cases of beverages), and handle the physical demands of the job
- Strong work ethic and a team first mentality
- English fluency; Japanese a bonus
- Japanese driving license or International Driving Permit preferred

CHEF DE PARTIE SHIFTS
Chef de Parties are expected to work at least 40 hours per week in flexible shifts that can cover breakfast, lunch or dinner. Most kitchens operate between 7am and 10pm.
ACCOMMODATION
HHG provides staff accommodation in central Hakuba (mainly in Happo Village, Wadano, and Kamishiro). Options include shared, dormitory, or private rooms depending on your role.
