Snowsports Kids Centre Assistants

We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and personable individuals with a passion for snowsports, strong customer service skills, and experience in childcare. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic, professional presentation, and the ability to thrive under pressure. As the frontline of our Kids & Teen Program, this role involves managing key aspects of operations, including sign-in and sign-out processes, meal supervision, setup and pack-down of learning areas, and ensuring the safety and engagement of children in the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Operations: Support the daily operations of the Kids & Teen Program, including setup and pack-down of indoor and outdoor learning areas, such as the Evergreen Magic Carpet.
• Guest Check-In/Out: Manage sign-in and sign-out processes, ensuring accurate collection of dietary and medical information and providing parents with daily schedules, meal times, and activity details.
• Child Supervision: Oversee children in the program, including those temporarily unable to participate due to illness, injury, or fatigue, ensuring their safety and engagement.
• Meal Coordination: Organize and serve lunches, which may occur on-hill or at resort restaurants, coordinating orders, group allocations, and schedules with the Program Supervisor.
• Outdoor Support: Assist groups in outdoor learning areas, adapting to varying weather conditions.
• Facility Maintenance: Clean and maintain indoor spaces, such as the EISS Kids Centre, to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Administrative Support: Assist Supervisors and Team Leaders with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
• Guest Interaction: Provide friendly, approachable, and professional service to guests, addressing inquiries about the program or their children.
  
  

Who We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should be:

• Compassionate, empathetic, and passionate about working with children
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment
• Physically fit to work indoors and outdoors, including in harsh winter conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the snowsports industry
• Background in childcare or education
• Ability to speak a second language (in addition to English)
