Our dispatch team is the operational heartbeat of our company, ensuring our drivers, vehicles, and passengers arrive safely, efficiently, and on time.  The position is on-site and would require the ability to commute to that location.  

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to support our Nevada transportation operations.


Position Summary

The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for leading the team of dispatchers, coordinating daily transportation activities, monitoring routes, communicating with drivers, responding to operational issues, and ensuring service commitments are met safely and efficiently.

This position serves as the primary communication link between drivers, maintenance personnel, supervisors, and customer representatives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily transportation operations using GPS, dispatch, and communication systems.
  • Coordinate dispatcher and driver assignments, route coverage, and schedule adjustments.
  • Communicate route changes, delays, emergencies, and operational updates.
  • Monitor driver attendance and staffing levels.
  • Ensure all routes are staffed and operating according to schedule.
  • Track vehicle availability and coordinate with maintenance personnel regarding repairs and inspections.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, reports, and operational records.
  • Respond to accidents, breakdowns, weather events, and service disruptions.
  • Provide professional customer service to passengers and client representatives.
  • Assist with trip planning and route optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
  • Participate in after-hours operational support as needed.
  • Escalate safety concerns and operational issues to management promptly.


Required Qualifications

  • Dispatch, transportation, logistics, customer service, or operations experience.
  • Well-organized team leadership experince. 
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and dispatch software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.
  • Possess or Obtain CDL within 30-day of hire. 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Transportation dispatch experience.
  • Motor coach, transit, shuttle, trucking, or school transportation experience.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements.
  • Experience working in mining, industrial, or remote-site operations.
  • Experience utilizing GPS tracking and fleet management software.
