About this role
Are you looking to expand your horizon in the trucking industry? LTL is looking to hire a couple HydroVac Operators.
2-3 Years experience needed
Rates starting at $27.40 an hour, depending on experience.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Key Responsibilities
- Operate hydrovac equipment to excavate and expose underground utilities using high-pressure water and vacuum systems
- Perform daylighting, trenching, slot trenching, and debris removal
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections
- Maintain safe work practices in accordance with company procedures and site-specific requirements
- Read and interpret utility locates and project plans
- Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and clients on-site
- Ensure proper setup and teardown of job sites, including traffic control if required
- Complete daily job reports, safety documentation, and maintenance logs
- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on equipment
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous hydrovac or vacuum truck experience preferred
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and hazard awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
