IT & Security Specialist

We are seeking an IT & Security Specialist to join our team. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and security of Senstar’s IT environment. This position blends infrastructure management, end-user support, and cybersecurity responsibilities, requiring a hands-on professional who can operate across systems, networks, and security domains.

What You Will Do

•    Provide end-user support and serve as an escalation point for complex IT issues
•    Manage and maintain servers, infrastructure, and core business systems
•    Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 and cloud-based services
•    Support and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and switching
•    Perform security monitoring, alert triage, and incident response
•    Manage endpoint security, patching, and system hardening processes
•    Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures
•    Collaborate across teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations

What You Bring

•    5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and security operations
•    Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, Azure)
•    Solid networking knowledge (firewalls, VPNs, routing/switching, DNS, DHCP)
•    Experience in security operations (monitoring, incident response, vulnerability remediation)
•    Experience supporting mid-sized environments (200+ users)
•    Hands-on expertise with Windows systems, endpoints, and patch management
•    Ability to troubleshoot independently across systems, networks, and user environments
•    Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting/automation tools
•    Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
•    Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
•    Relevant certifications are considered an asset
