Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job is responsible for delivering the organization's outcome as stated:
  • To ensure acceptable quality, reliability, conformance, and performance consistently for all the New Products (NPI/HAMR) manufactured in Head operations that meet all the customer specifications and requirements
  • To set up, maintain, and improve the in-process and outgoing quality of the Slider fabrication/ Head Process for Visual, Mechanical specification to meet the customer requirements
  • Monitor and improve LAR / DPPM / Cpk for CTF parameters as identified in the control plan 
  • Monitor & review NPI build performance in each build phase
  • Communicate and liaise with cross-functional teams for Quality improvement activities.
  • Attend Daily Operations, Core team & NPI build meetings 
  • Assure that all changes must undergo documented change management systems and be validated before implementation

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Science, or equivalent
  • At least 5-6 years in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 4 years in Quality Function

PREFERRED:

  • Experience in the HDD business, especially the slider fabricating process, is an added advantage
  • Understanding of Quality tools and perform 8D,FMEA, SPC, and Lesson learned
  • Understanding of 4IR and Digital transformation 

SKILLS:

  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Computer literacy: Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Power BI and SQL
  • Quality Management Systems: ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
