About this role

Position Summary: vCIO

At DKBinnovative, technology is only valuable when it is aligned to what a client is trying to accomplish. The Virtual CIO (vCIO) is the trusted advisor who makes that alignment happen, serving as the strategic technology partner for a portfolio of managed services clients.

The vCIO's primary role is to provide planning, budgeting, and strategic direction to clients in relation to information technology and systems. The vCIO builds a business relationship of technology planning and consulting with business owners, executive leadership, and both technical and non-technical decision makers. Working in close coordination with the vCTO team, the vCIO aligns clients to DKBinnovative's standards and best practices, creates recommendations for improvement, and supports technology budgeting by identifying and mitigating business risk.

Our Core Values

Be Humble

Collaborative team players possess humility without being overly self-centered or status conscious. They readily acknowledge the contributions of others and prioritize team accomplishments over individual recognition. They share credit and work collectively to define success. Although they have confidence in their own capabilities, they also recognize their limitations.

Be Hungry

Ambitious team players are driven to excel, constantly seeking new challenges and growth opportunities. They are eager to take on more responsibility, expand their skill sets, and explore new areas of knowledge. Motivated by their own desire to succeed, they don't require constant prodding from managers to work harder. Instead, they are self-motivated and hardworking, always thinking ahead and looking for ways to improve.

Be Smart

Savvy team players are perceptive and naturally understanding of people and their behavior. They are skilled at navigating group dynamics, making smart decisions, and utilizing effective communication to foster positive relationships. With their good judgment and intuition, they are able to recognize and respond to subtle nuances in group interactions, ensuring that their words and actions have a positive impact. They are also comfortable engaging in healthy conflict and can effectively manage any disagreements that arise within the team.
