Tribe Technologies is on the lookout for an experienced Technical Solutions Team Lead to join our Christchurch CBD‑based team. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll combine your technical expertise with your passion for people and customer success.

You’ll be the go‑to expert for solving complex, escalated technical challenges, working closely with our amazing customers, and leading a small (but mighty!) team of technical specialists.


What you’ll be doing

  • Take ownership of escalated technical issues and drive practical, high‑quality solutions
  • Act as a technical escalation point for both customers and internal teams
  • Visit local customers on site to understand challenges and deliver outstanding service
  • Lead, coach, and support a small team of technical specialists
  • Share knowledge and set technical best practice across the team
  • Work collaboratively with wider teams to continuously improve customer outcomes


What we’re looking for

  • Strong hands‑on technical expertise (infrastructure, systems, or solution‑based environments)
  • Proven experience solving complex technical problems in a customer‑focused setting
  • People leadership experience – you don’t have to be a seasoned manager, but you enjoy leading and coaching others
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a genuine passion for customer experience
