Junior Assembler - Glazier

 Role Overview

 This is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to build a career in the glazing and aluminum systems trade. You will work alongside experienced assemblers and glaziers to learn how to build high-performance aluminum systems. This is a learn-on-the-job role with clear progression into a skilled trade position.

What You Bring to the Table

 Technical Skills

• Experience working in a construction, manufacturing, carpentry, or mechanical environment (shop or site)
• Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and positioning materials safely throughout the shift (up to 50 lbs)
• Basic understanding of materials (aluminum, glass, rubber gaskets, sealants) or similar construction components
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16” and perform basic layout measurements
• Understands basic shop drawings and assembly layouts

• Pays close attention to detail, ensuring quality and accuracy in all tasks

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling aluminum frames and components
• Learn how to read basic shop drawings and measurements
• Support glass installation and handling
• Help install gaskets, sealants, and waterproofing components
• Organize materials and prep components for production
• Use hand and power tools under supervision
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow instructions from lead hands and supervisors
• Support overall production flow Assist other departments when needed
