Summary

The Cassini Client Services Team plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless client experience. The team is responsible for client onboarding and implementation projects, as well as assisting the support and relationship management teams with production client management.


We are looking for a Client Delivery Engineer to join our team in the Cassini India office. This role may involve occasional travel to other Cassini locations.


The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, an interest in data and the financial markets, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Role

The Client Services Team are experts in using the Cassini software and all its functionality. Within this team, the Client Delivery Engineer is responsible for the technical implementation work involved in configuring and integrating the Cassini software for a client.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

 

  • Working alongside a Client Services Manager to provide technical assistance in implementing the Cassini software as part of a documented implementation plan for implementation projects

 

  • Working with APIs, SFTP and the Cassini User Interface to integrate client data into Cassini’s data structure

 

  • Using a range of data formats, such as json, xml or csv to receive client data and transform data into internal formats by authoring jinja2 transforms

 

  • Quickly understand and manipulate large and complex client datasets including debugging of error messages and identifying bad data formats

 

  • Following data integration, ensuring that the client’s required functionality is performing as expected with detailed testing and validation of expected usage

 

  • Deliver user training and documentation to internal teams on Cassini functionality

 

  • Contribute to technical discussions with client technical teams

 

  • Identify potential improvements in processes within the team

 

  • Adapt internal scripts (predominantly in Python) for internal tooling


Tech Stack

We work with an exciting, modern stack built for scale, reliability, and productivity. To be successful in this role, you’ll need solid experience with some of the core tools, platforms, and technologies we work with:

 

  • API client; postman, soapUi, Bruno or similar 
  • Python for scripting and Automation
  • AWS tooling - to view logs, load files, enter docker containers etc (basic use)

 

Required Qualifications & Experience;

  • Understanding of Python coding language
  • Experience working with automation tools such as SoapUI and Postman
  • Proficiency with MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint
  • An understanding of financial instruments, in particular Prime Brokerage business experience, is preferable



Skills & Competencies;

  • Extremely strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to drive progress across many parallel workstreams
  • Good communication skills with internal stakeholders
  • Experience creating and manipulating large, complex datasets
  • Proven ability to document data flows and client user documents for external consumption
  • Be comfortable working with data transmission layers such as APIs and SFTP
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Professional fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and time zones.
