Reports to: BI Program Manager

 

Responsibilities:

Case Management  

  • Family satisfaction: Ensure proper support, advocacy, resources, timely communication
  • Required assessments: scoring, tracking client progress, adapting to the needs of the family
  • Attend court appointments & other professional family-based meetings
  • Help match BIs to homes
  • Review Incident Reports; follow-up with family
  • Facilitate Referral Triage, Intake, Meet & Greets for each family
  • Submit Recommendation & Approval Letters for services
  • Create Behavioral Plan for each client, obtaining approval; review/update as necessary
  • Update families & BI Team throughout the Admission process
  • Complete Quarterly Meetings & Bi-annual Assessments with each family & BI Staff
  • Write/submit renewals on time
  • Update SAM, electronic health record, profiles
  • Complete/Submit End of Month Reports
  • Complete Case Closure & Aftercare Follow-up meetings, assessments, documentation
  • Review BI QuarterlProgress Report; provide feedback to staff

 

Administrative Leadership & Supervision

  • Employee satisfaction; build a strong sense of team
  • Give BIs proper support/advocacy
  • Help with the hiring & onboarding of new BI Staff 
  • Help plan/conduct BI monthly meetings
  • Conduct supervisory reviews of the BIs in your team; communicate concerns to Program Manager
  • Complete BI’s 90-day & annual evaluation
  • Provide in-home observation shifts of BIs; provide feedback
  • Track all missed shifts; check shift notes for completion
  • Help Program Manager, complete necessary corrective actions & terminations
  • Update/track employee timecards
  • Provide support to BIs during OHI Investigations
  • Being a team player to effectively & efficiently serve clients
  • Maintain contact, build relationship with partner agencies & community stakeholders
  • Maintain strong, open communication with the BI Team
  • Maintain CPR/First Aid certification
  • Collaborate with branch office(s) to ensure program fidelity
  • Attend required trainings for ongoing professional development

 

Outcome Planning/PQI  

  • Complete agency reports/statistics
  • Ensure procedures are in place to track/report program outcomes & quality assurance
  • Ensure compliance for all resource provider files
  • With the Program Manager, complete Critical Incident Reports
  • Complete all Incident Report Reviews on time

  

Qualifications & Preferred Skills  

  • MA/MS (or BA/BS + 2 years) in social work, psychology, public administration, or related human services field
  • Previous experience with at-risk populations
  • Familiarity with the child welfare system
  • Resourcefulness in setting priorities, creating efficiencies, guiding investment in people & system
  • Understanding of program development, implementation & evaluation
  • Outstanding organizational & planning skills
  • Commitment to support & advocacy for foster & adoptive families
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Leadership, team management, interpersonal skills; quickly establish rapport & build trust
  • Collaborate for positive outcomes within multi-disciplinary, diverse, dynamic professional teams
  • Flexible, self-starter; multi-tasker, detail-oriented while meeting all deadlines
  • Model ethical & professional behavior
  • Participate in required meetings/professional memberships & trainings
  • Experience working with marginalized communities with a nuanced understanding of systemic oppressions
  • Flexibility/adaptability to fit the needs of a wide range of cultures, people, organizations
