Position Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to support the Materials Manager in managing inventory and distributing materials across multiple construction sites. Tracking material requests and key-coding each material request for billing. The ideal candidate will ensure that materials are delivered on time and in alignment with project schedules.

Key Responsibilities 

• Support the Material Manager in maintaining accurate warehouse inventory and inventory control processes.
• Track incoming and outgoing materials for multiple construction projects and job sites.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely material deliveries and efficient material flow.
• Assist with material forecasting, sourcing, and purchasing activities.
• Monitor material usage, costs, shortages, and inventory levels, providing regular updates and reports.
• Maintain accurate records of surplus and overflow materials from completed projects.
• Help resolve inventory discrepancies and material-related issues to support project schedules.

Essential Skills & Competencies 

• Experience in inventory control, materials coordination, warehouse operations, or construction logistics.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to track, analyze, and report inventory and material data accurately.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes preferred.

Required Qualifications 

• Associate degree in Construction Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of experience in materials, inventory, or warehouse management, preferably in construction.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between job sites as needed.

Physical Demands & Work Environment 

• Warehouse-based with frequent visits to the Main Office.
• Occasional lifting or movement of material samples and construction equipment.
• May require extended hours during peak project phases.
