Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily production of a drum plant to produce high quality asphalt to be used in various PennDOT, township and private projects. Must be willing to work overtime during the construction season.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality production of apshalt materials.
- Load trucks to various jobs each day.
- Keep track of various materials needed for asphalt production and stock as needed.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
Safety Compliance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during plant operation.
- Conduct pre-operational checks and routine inspections to ensure plant is in optimal condition.
Maintenance and Repairs
- Perform general maintenance on asphalt plant to ensure proper functionality.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly for timely repairs.
