Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the lay-out, installation, testing, demo, and repair of piping systems in accordance to industry standards
- Understand, comply, and respond appropriately to safety hazards
- Ability to lead small teams
- Communicate with Superintendent as required.
- Use of hand and power tools/equipment
- Mechanical ability
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
Qualifications:
- Must know HOT water, CHILL water, and STEAM systems
- Must have knowledge of specs, submittals, blueprint readings, and intricate parts of systems.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Capable of working outdoors and in environmental conditions including extreme heat, humidity, and extreme cold and high elevations
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to learn
