Currently, we have an open position for a Senior System Administrator with experience in the area of system and network administration, databases, application deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Responsibilities
- Deployment, administration, and maintenance of Linux and Unix based physical and virtual servers in more than 15 worldwide locations
- Managing the network infrastructure - enterprise switches (Dell, HPE, Mellanox), BSDRP routers, Bind name servers, DHCP servers, etc.
- Performance, stability, and security optimizations
- Monitoring and incident management
- Support of the internal office infrastructure, test and production systems
Requirements
- 3+ years of Senior Level experience with Linux and Unix based server environments
- Deep understanding of networking
- Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMWARE)
- Experience with Docker virtual containers
- Experience with databases (PSQL, MongoDB, MySQL) - administration, replication, clusterization
- Experience with enterprise switches, network protocols, DNS, name servers, routers (BSDRP), and routing software suites (BIRD, QUAGGA)
- Experience with automation (Puppet) ,
- Fluent in the English Language, both written and verbal
Experience with any of the following would be considered an advantage - FreeBSD, Bind, Vyatta/VyOS, Chef, Ansible, Kickstart, ZFS, OpenStack
