As an Assistant Store Manager, you will act as a brand ambassador and responsible for running and maintaining the overall operations of the retail business in a dedicated store.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and increase sales, drive marketing strategy and initiatives to achieve and exceed financial targets set by the company
- Main responsibility of the back-end operation of the store
○ Stock controlling and management
○ Inventory management in all systems
○ Stockroom keeper management
○ Online orders responsibility
○ Responsible for stocktake along with SM
○ Financial reporting overview
○ Maintain stockroom and back offices as its highest standard - Monitor, order and receive stock in line with store needs
- Achieve and maintain excellent retail and visual merchandising standards in all areas of the sales floor and stockroom
- Partner with the Store Manager to manage recruitment, induction, training, development, and evaluation of all sales staff
- Aid in the execution of regular shop meetings with sales staff and shop management, outline sales targets, and shop goals and provide relevant information
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times within the shop environment
- Establish close communication with the corporate office regarding product feedback, and provide relevant information as requested
- Ensure that all shop staff portray extensive product knowledge and an appropriate company image
- Execute all retail-related paperwork and reporting by required deadlines
- Build and grow customer base and client data, to maintain weekly clienteling routines and allow for continued client outreach
- Aid in maintaining loss prevention standards and preventing shrink
- Cultivate new and existing customer relationships through personalized service and weekly client outreach
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- A minimum of 3-4 years of contemporary or luxury retail management experience is required; must have the flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including the ability days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proven, practical management skills and experience required
- Skilled in the analysis and interpretation of information and data
- Must be a self-starter, entrepreneurial, highly motivated, and maintain the ability to motivate others
- Must possess a strong ability to motivate, develop and coach retail staff
