What You'll Do:
- Price YRT, Coinsurance, Longevity, and Financial Reinsurance deals
- Modernize and enhance valuation systems
- Develop and refine experience studies and best practices
- Strengthen mortality assumptions and projection models
- Support in-force analysis and existing client needs
- Provide technical expertise across traditional and structured reinsurance
- Partner with insurers and reinsurers on pricing and quotations
- Mentor actuarial students and support exam progression
What You'll Bring:
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Finance, or related field
- FSA (or career ASA); MAAA is an asset
- 3+ years in life insurance/reinsurance with strong product and pricing experience
- GGY Axis (2+ years)
- Advanced Excel/Access; familiarity with R, Python, SQL, or similar tools
- Knowledge of US/Canadian (IFRS) reporting and reinsurance frameworks (asset)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Working knowledge of experience studies, valuation, and reinsurance structures (asset)
- Longevity transaction structuring (asset)
- US and/or Canadian market experience (asset)
