Cloud Automation Tester

About this role
We are currently looking for a Cloud Automation Tester to strenghten the Cronos Europa team.
Responsabilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source or commercial tools
- Integrate automation tests with Gitlab CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments in co-ordination with the DevSecOps team
- Test cloud-native applications across various cloud platforms such as AWS & Azure Cloud
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of UI components with backend services
- Identify, record, and track bugs to resolution
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and project managers) to identify system requirements.
- Monitor debugging process results and provide feedback to development teams.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Technical skills:
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance with a focus on cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Must have ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent
- Nice to have professional certifications AWS Certified solutions architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certfied Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Experience with UI testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Espresso or similar
- Experience with Postman, Jest, Pytest, Python Requests or similar
- Nice to have knowledge of OWASP Zap or similar OWASP testing tool
- Nice to have E2E testing with domain specific languages
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure and their SDKs
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab CI/CD or Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.

- The ability to learn new skills and new platforms are also key
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
