About this role
As part of our growth programme, we invested in new electric injection moulding machines. To support us with this, we are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team as a Injection Moulding Machine Setter within our Production Department. This role is on a 3-shift basis and has excellent development opportunities.Ā

Main accountabilities includes:

- Ensure moulding start-ups are done effectively following procedures and as per the established standard set-up timings.
- Actively works in achieving production and quality targets.
- Follow effectively and continuously departmental procedures and organisational policies.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is properly and fully completed/submitted.
- Take responsibility for the production of machines running as automatic.
- Report any damages on tools and ensure that Tool Repair Form is done to Tooling Department and Quality Department.
- Help in the preparation of samples for the development department as necessary and requested by departmental manager.Ā
- Be a key driver for continuous improvement with an aim in improving productivity and quality levels whilst reducing material and labour costs.
- Perform all duties in a safe and proper manner at all times
- Do tool maintenance, including greasing and ensuring bolts and nuts are secure
- Housekeeping of the machinery and the surrounding area to ensure a clean and clutter free environment

The ideal candidate should preferably be in possession of an MQF Level 3 or 4 qualification in a technical subject, be able to read and write in English, and carry out Mathematical computations. Previous experience in a similar position is considered an asset.
