QA Engineer
About this role
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with 2+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, requirements analysis, automated testing, and non-functional testing practices.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience working in Agile environments, designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, and contributing to high-quality software delivery through both manual and automated testing approaches.
This role requires hands-on experience with API testing, performance testing, AI-driven SDLC practices, and modern QA Automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
- Design, document, execute, and maintain functional and non-functional test cases.
- Develop, implement, and execute automated test scripts using frameworks/tools such as:
- Selenium
- Playwright
- Katalon
- Postman
- Appium
- Perform API testing, validation, and integration testing for RESTful services and microservices architectures.
- Execute performance, load, and stress testing using tools such as:
- JMeter
- K6
- Validate system scalability, reliability, and response times under different workloads.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and QA estimations.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure software quality throughout the SDLC.
- Work within AI-driven SDLC environments and support quality initiatives aligned with modern software engineering practices.
- Manage Git-based repositories following Gitflow and version control best practices.
- Document, track, and follow up on bugs, defects, and test execution reports.
- Execute and validate SQL queries/scripts for backend and database testing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, and automation coverage.
Must Have
- 2+ years of experience in QA Engineering and Test Automation.
- Strong experience in:
- API Testing
- Functional and Non-Functional Testing
- QA Automation
- Integration Testing
- Performance/Load Testing
- Experience with automation frameworks and testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Postman, Appium, or Katalon.
- Experience performing performance and stress testing using JMeter or K6.
- Knowledge of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience working with Git repositories and Gitflow workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have
- ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level or higher).
- Experience working in AI-driven SDLC environments.
- Experience testing cloud-based or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with mobile testing automation.
