The Opportunity
Outcrop is seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager to join our team in Yellowknife. As a key team member, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of products and services to our clients. This role requires serving as the key day-to-day agency representative, maintaining a highly responsive service orientation, and developing deep knowledge in both the client’s business and the agency’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Financial Oversight:
- Develop accurate price estimates for agency work and vendor quotes, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Consult with Creative Services and Digital Marketing Managers to provide accurate price quotes while adhering to pricing guidelines and client budgets.
- Develop scopes of work detailing tactical descriptions.
- Complete billing reports and invoicing for assigned accounts.
Client Service & Strategy:
- Work with Account Managers to marshal agency resources to meet client needs.
- Collaborate internally and with clients to conceptualize and execute creative solutions across all media platforms (digital, web, graphic design, or strategy).
- Actively communicate and respond to opportunities to provide agency services to a wide range of clients.
- Provide notes and briefs on client meetings and discovery to inform the creation of client work.
- Keep apprised of clients’ brands, products, services, and marketing developments.
- Review and quality check materials before client presentation, and gather client feedback.
- Assist in the planning and creative process of new client acquisition.
- Keep informed on key industry and local trends and events.
- Attend meetings as assigned.
Reporting & Measurement:
- Assist in managing the campaign measurement process to ensure client and agency alignment on key performance metrics.
- Support the Digital Marketing team with reporting.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Required Background:
- A business or marketing degree, together with successful agency experience in junior, supervised account group capacities.
- In lieu of formal education, acceptable experience in a marketing position for more than two years is desired.

- Strong verbal and written communications skills, an aptitude for analytical thinking, a sense of entrepreneurship, and developing interpersonal skills.

- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including team members, vendors, and clients.

- Able to adjust to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Occasional overtime and travel may be required, and some odd hours may be necessary.
