Ready to make a real impact? At The Bridge Behavioral Health, we’re looking for compassionate, flexible, and optimistic individuals to join our team as Recovery Advocates. This grant-based position is your chance to provide essential support and guidance to individuals battling drug and alcohol use.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Positive, fun, and reliable team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Part-time hours: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outreach to the chronic homeless population. 
  • Observe, supervise, and document client behavior and participation.
  • Communicate significant observations to the interdisciplinary team.
  • Assist clients who may be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Educate clients on available community resources and assist with connecting them to services that support recovery, housing stability, healthcare, employment, transportation, and other identified needs.
  • Address clients' immediate needs and respond to emergencies.
  • Maintain professional, therapeutic relationships with clients and peers.
  • Ensure confidentiality of client records.
  • Model supportive behavior for clients in recovery.

 

What You Need:

  • Two years of coursework or experience in a human services field, or two years of lived recovery experience with demonstrated skills.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Psychology, Sociology, or related field).
  • Ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Valid Driver's License.
