Cornerstones of Maine is excited to announce opportunities to join our growing team as a Psychotherapist/ Psychologist/ Therapist/ Clinician/ Counselor (Psy.D, PHD, LCPC, LCSW, etc.) within our residential young adult mental health program. For nearly a decade, we’ve been providing evidence-based, research-driven mental health services to young adults.,

Our program is designed to support young adults who are navigating the challenges of transitioning to independence while learning to manage their mental health. We use an integrated therapeutic model, with psychotherapists managing a small caseload of clients and providing individual, group, and family therapy. The therapeutic environment fosters a collaborative, team-based approach, allowing staff to work together in supporting each client’s progress. This position offers an exciting blend of hands-on clinical work and the chance for in-depth exploration and development of clinical skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual, group, and family psychotherapy
  • Maintain small caseload
  • Diagnostics and treatment planning
  • Case consultation and treatment team collaboration

Required skills and experience:

We are currently seeking a dynamic licensed psychotherapist, psychologist, therapist, clinician, LCPC, or LCSW with minimum 5 years of direct clinical experience working in mental health settings, including with neurodivergent adolescents and/or young adults. Our applicant should have a strong understanding of clinical work. Master’s degree or higher in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required. CPR certification required by date of permanent hire.
