For this reason, we are looking for a Franchising Managing Director to oversee the business in the domestic cleaning franchise unit from our Headquarter in Lausanne, Switzerland. They will have the goal of leading and ensuring the growth of the business and franchises in Switzerland and internationally that are in line with overall strategy and business plans.
Tasks
- Steer the development of mid and long-term strategies, specifically as it relates to our franchising model.
- Build and stabilize a strong organization to manage future growth including implementing organizational change, when necessary, to achieve the goals.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate strategies which ensure the long-term profitable development of the business.
- Responsible for achieving operating and financial objectives in accordance to business plans.
- Manage all assets, funds, and other property in accordance with the group rules.
- Ensure full alignment of all levels of the organization on the targets and goals of the business.
- Develop a management style, which fully employs the capabilities and potential of the organization.
- Responsible for continuously studying the economic, industry and technical developments and their impacts on the business and developing and implementing necessary actions to safeguard the long-term development of the business.
- Maintain and develop contacts with industry organizations, labour unions and any other organization, which have an influence on the business and make efficient use of these contacts.
- Ensure timely completion of any strategic projects and integration into the business.
- Work cross-functionally with the HQ Marketing team to initiate creative local
marketing strategies, growth campaigns and market brand awareness.
Requirements
- A university degree in Management, Finance, accounting, or economics is required. MBA preferred
- 10 years of experience in building and managing franchise business models.
- Industry sector and experience is a plus.

- Strong data-driven mindset with analytical thinking
- Experience building, motivating and leading high-performing teams
- Ability to understand critical issues in every aspect of the company operations, understanding key operational duties
- Experience in working with multiple shareholders Fluent in Swiss German and English, other languages are a plus
