The position of Co-Chief Scribe is a leadership opportunity that offers exposure to department administration as well as MedScribes Leadership. This position entails shared administrative responsibilities to maintain and grow a client site as well as the chance to learn to lead and train a team. These are invaluable skills for any professional to have in their tool belt for a professional career. Individuals applying for this position should be team-oriented, capable of identifying individual and client needs, able to complete the monthly schedule, and comfortable with the basics of healthcare administration and program evaluation. The responsibilities of this growing site will be shared with another qualified member of the team to ensure balance in leadership and training of new staff. 

Basic Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree (in the process of earning or have already received) 
• Demonstrated capacity for leadership and administration/management
  
• Willingness to complete the necessary training and associated competency testing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Sufficient level competency of Epic utilization
• Commitment of up to 5-10 additional hours per week, in addition to scribing hours, for administrative tasks 
  
• Commitment of at least 9-12 additional months with the company
• Experience training new staff preferred
  
• 6+ months of scribing experience preferred
