Our client is seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Business Development Representative to help generate new business opportunities and support the agency's growth. This role is focused on building relationships with founders, executives, and business leaders through outbound outreach, primarily on LinkedIn, while identifying opportunities that translate into qualified meetings and revenue.
This is not a task-based lead generation role. The ideal candidate will think strategically, take ownership of outbound efforts, continuously improve performance, and operate as a trusted business development partner to the Founder.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research target prospects aligned with the company vision, ideal client profileÂ
- Execute personalized outbound outreach through LinkedIn and other relevant channelsÂ
- Build and nurture relationships with founders, executives, and business ownersÂ
- Qualify prospects and schedule discovery callsÂ
- Own outreach campaigns from prospecting through meeting generationÂ
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics including response rates, meeting bookings, and conversion ratesÂ
- Test and refine messaging, targeting strategies, and outreach processesÂ
- Identify new channels, communities, partnerships, or opportunities to generate pipelineÂ
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and pipeline progressÂ
- Collaborate directly with the Founder to align business development efforts with company growth goalsÂ
- Provide regular reporting and insights on campaign performance and sales activityÂ
- Proven experience in Business Development, Sales Development, Outbound Sales, or B2B Lead GenerationÂ
- Experience owning outbound prospecting efforts from research through booked meetingsÂ
- Strong understanding of sales funnel metrics and conversion trackingÂ
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and outbound prospecting toolsÂ
- Ability to discuss and analyze performance metrics such as:Â
- Response ratesÂ
- Positive reply ratesÂ
- Meeting booking ratesÂ
- Conversion ratesÂ
- Pipeline generationÂ
- Experience creating or improving outreach strategies independentlyÂ
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skillsÂ
