Job Description
The Network Operations Administrator is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day health of network hardware, software platforms, and identity systems. This role manages the logical configurations—such as IP addressing (IPAM), user accounts (Active Directory/SaaS), and virtualized environments—that allow services to flow securely to both the customer base and the internal enterprise.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in information technology or related field is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or related field is preferred
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years information technology experience is required
- Proficiency in Network Infrastructure (Cisco/Juniper, LAN/WAN, GPON), Server Administration (Windows/Linux, Virtualization), and Security (Firewalls, DDoS mitigation).
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage tasks and time effectively
- Excellent communicator who collaborates effectively in fluent English, both in person and in writing.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong project management and planning skills, including the ability to coordinate work with other departments or organizations and to make meeting/conference arrangements
