Role Description

We are looking for an organised and proactive Project Management Office (PMO) Coordinator to support the delivery of projects within the Low Carbon Technology team.

Alongside core PMO coordination responsibilities, you will play a key role in assisting the adoption of AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Co-pilot) across the business. You’ll work closely with technical and non-technical teams to support projects running smoothly while developing skills in agile project delivery, technology and AI. This is an entry level role ideal for an individual who takes a proactive approach to partnering with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teams with day-to-day coordination of project activities
  • Maintain project documentation including RAID logs
  • Assist in maintaining central repositories and project management systems with up to date, accurate information (e.g. SharePoint and Azure DevOps)
  • Provide project administration assistance for technical and non-technical teams as well as the PMO team
  • Assist with tracking project performance and support reporting on key objectives
  • Escalate overdue actions or unresolved issues through appropriate channels
  • Ensure consistency in project documentation and PMO standards
  • Use process mapping tools such as Figma to contribute to project documentation and requirements analysis
  • Use AI throughout Project lifecycles to automate manual and repetitive tasks
  • Champion the rollout of AI tools within the PMO, Technology team and wider business
  • Feed AI adoption insights into continuous improvement initiatives within the Low Carbon Technology team

Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Demonstrable usage and experience with AI Tools either professionally or during studies
  • Exposure to working within technology teams, project delivery, coordination or administration (for example in internships etc.) is helpful but not essential
