Job Description
Principal Product Manager (Technical)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 10+ years of product experience, with completion of full product lifecycle (from concept through GTM)
· MBA or a master’s degree from a top program such as computer science, engineering, or marketing
· Demonstrated ownership of the full life cycle of a product from strategic conception to delivery to maturity
· Demonstrated track record for driving product management of world-class products and services
· Deep understanding of the value of web services technologies
· Both technically deep and business savvy to interface with and lead teams of all levels and disciplines within an organization, from engineers to senior leadership
· Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to work independently and effectively in a results-oriented, efficient environment
· Excellent written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Understands data streaming technologies such as Amazon Kinesis, Apache Kafka, pub/sub, messaging architectures
· Experience speaking in front of audiences in a professional setting
· Experience delivering results at the executive level
· Experience managing start-up products (under $1 MM/ year revenue) and large products ($1B/ year revenue)
· Deep understanding of the value of web services technologies
· Both technically deep and business savvy to interface with and lead teams of all levels and disciplines within an organization, from engineers to senior leadership
· Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to work independently and effectively in a results-oriented, efficient environment
· Excellent written communication skills
