Key Responsibilities

The PIT (Production Improvement Team) Specialist is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving the production performance of DEUS Plano’s manufacturing operations. This role serves as a key driver of operational excellence, leveraging data, KPIs, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance productivity, material flow, cost performance, and overall production efficiency.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and highly capable of working with multiple teams to deliver measurable performance improvements.

  • Production Performance Monitoring & Analysis:
    • Monitor and report key production KPIs
    • Conduct root-cause analysis on performance issues.
  • Productivity & Process Improvement
    • Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis.
    • Execute solutions to optimize flow, reduce waste, and improve cycle times.
    • Work with engineering on process changes and equipment impacts.
    • Support continuous improvement and Lean/Kaizen activities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with Materials, Warehouse, Finance, and Engineering teams to improve material flow, logistics efficiency, cost and variance analysis, product quality, and support NPIs and operational investigations.
  • Reporting & Communication
    • Provide clear, regular performance reports.
    • Deliver real-time insights to support daily operations.
    • Maintain data accuracy and standardized KPI reporting across teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or related field and experience.
  • 1 plus years of strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and ERP systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and functions.
  • Have the willingness to grow and curiosity to learn from challenges

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, production operations, or business operation.
  • Familiarity with Lean/Kaizen methodologies.
  • Experience in high-mix, high-volume production environments.
