Job Description
- At Least 4 years of Experience in Production and Environment Support Unix, Linux, Tomcat, websphere, JBOSS
- We need strong Java Technical engineer from Production background.
- Experience in Java Development as well as Support- Must
- Expertise in SQL queries.
- Strong in RDBMS concepts, Oracle DB and good knowledge of PL/SQL scripting.
- Strong experience in web servers.
- Experienced in Java, J2EE and Web Application Development.
- Prior production support experience is mandatory
- Good debugging and trouble shooting skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Very strong technical background in core java, XML, Spring and RESTful web services.
- Good knowledge in SQL queries and database fundamentals
- Any experience with Splunk, Apigee and ATG commerce will be an advantage.
- Exposure to Heap-dump/Thread-dump Analysis will be an advantage.
- Experience in Retail domain will be an advantage
- Strong in UNIX commands and shell scripting
- Supervises daily activities for production support to ensure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of problems mitigation plans, ICA and RCA within service-level agreements.
- Instructs on day-to-day operations: business impacts, priorities and dependencies.
- Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all information entered into production scheduling and problem management systems.
- Ability to evaluate the rationale behind the use of technology infrastructure across various functions.
- Coaches the team on the roles and responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
