We are currently seeking enthusiastic Production Operators for our day shift team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our production process, ensuring that our products meet the high quality and safety standards we uphold. Working hours are from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday and every 3rd Saturday with a competitive pay rate starting at £12.21 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee production machinery to ensure efficient processing of potato products.
- Ensure all safety and quality standards are followed to create a safe working environment.
- Inspect and verify the quality of products before packaging to ensure they meet company specifications.
- Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
- Document production metrics accurately and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with team members to facilitate smooth operations and timely production.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred, ideally within the food sector.
- Excellent attention to detail to maintain product quality and safety.
- Effective communication skills for working within a team-oriented environment.
- Basic mechanical skills helpful for equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule on day shifts.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to health and safety protocols.
