SMS is hiring a Project Manager to manage our BIM Task Orders, to include overall program management and strategic oversite.  The position will require work at Hanscom AFB.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall program management and strategic oversight for all BIM Task Order activities including legacy network operations, design and architecture development, modernization implementation, and transition to modernized network operations.
• Serves as primary point of contact between SMS and Government Program Management Office, Contracting Officer, and Contract Officer Representative.
• Manage contract execution ensuring compliance with Performance Work Statement requirements, schedules, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Air National Guard base Communications Squadrons, Civil Engineering, and other base organizations.
• Lead development and implementation of shared Tier 2 operational structure aligning with CS tactical command and control.
• Manage integration of BIM Vendor personnel with government CS personnel for shared operations.
• Oversee development of incident management, change management, and operational standard operating procedures.
• Ensure BIM Vendor ultimate responsibility for meeting Service Level Agreements while enabling shared Tier 2 functions.
• Manages risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution.
• Coordinates Program Management Reviews, Integrated Product Team meetings, and stakeholder communications.
• Oversee Integrated Master Schedule development and maintenance.
• Manage subcontractor coordination and teaming partner activities.
• Ensure compliance with security, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Notify PMO and CS within one business day of problems or issues.

Qualifications

• Possess Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of program management experience including complex network infrastructure or IT service delivery programs.
• DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent project manager certification highly desired.
• Ability and willingness to travel as need.
