Job Description

Quality Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Applies GMP/GLP/ISO 17025 compliance standards in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate 
  • Demonstrates strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration 
  • Meets all quality and productivity metrics 
  • Proactively plans and multitasks to maximize productivity 
  • Maintains continuous learning to keep abreast of regulatory or industry standards as related to Quality Assurance (QA) requirements 
  • Identifies potential quality system improvements to maximize quality and productivity 
  • Performs internal laboratory audits and keeps management informed of identified findings 
  • Provides QA review and approvals as required 
  • Presents, prepares, or attends training programs as needed to satisfy regulatory requirements 
  • Possesses strong quality orientation and organizational skills 
  • Provides clear feedback 
  • Communicates (oral and written) effectively and shows attention to detail 
  • Keeps accurate records, follows instructions, and complies with company policies 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Strong computer skills; excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Technical laboratory skills.

  • Ability to work independently and maintain self-motivation

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills in person.

Basic Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major) 
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

  • Position is full-time, working Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00p.m overtime as needed
  • May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
