Context

We are seeking a highly experienced Risk Manager to join a to one of our prestigious project. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in managing risks for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Missions/Main Duties

• Risk Identification: Proactively identify potential project risks, including financial, operational, and safety risks.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments, using quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to evaluate the likelihood and impact of identified risks.
• Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans to minimize the impact of risks on the project.
• Risk Monitoring: Continuously monitor project risks and the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures. Update risk management plans as necessary.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular risk reports to project stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
• Compliance: Ensure that risk management practices comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, including ISO 31000 or AS4360.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to project team members on risk management processes and best practices.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project risks and the actions being taken to address them.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all risk management activities, including risk assessments, mitigation plans, and monitoring reports.

Profile/Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in risk management for large-scale infrastructure or mega projects, preferably in the transportation sector.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the regulatory and operational environment of Saudi Arabia.
• Project Management: Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
