About this role
Overview
- Tier One Technologies is seeking a Security Escort to support operations inside Restricted Areas at the DoD Cyber Crime Center in Linthicum Heights, MD.
- This engagement is to provide unarmed, cleared security & escort services for the facilities.
- SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.
- Must be a US Citizen and have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
- Shift: approximately 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM EST.
Responsibilities
- Provide escort services for contracted and uncleared construction personnel to work area perimeter.
- Open the space, issue badges, and ensure accountability for the morning sign-in roster.
- Escort the onsite movement of contractors, vendors, and other visitors.
- Monitor activities in, near, and around secure government buildings.
- Ensure non-cleared personnel or visitors adhere to all designated non-secure areas.
- Exercise good judgement and caution, and immediately report all non-compliant and/or suspicious activity.
- Ensure the safeguarding of all classified locations, including monitoring the activities of construction personnel during the construction of secure buildings, potentially including Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF).
Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to be punctual, start early and follow instructions.
- Must have previous escort or security experience in a Federal environment.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
