About this role

Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S) is a non-profit charity organisation dedicated to serving individuals on the autism spectrum throughout their lives. Based in Singapore, ARC(S) offers a range of services and resources tailored to meet the growing concerns and needs of the autism community

Key responsibilities:

1.       Monthly Accounts Closing and Financial Reporting

  • Manage full set of accounts and ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accrals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review including variance analysis against budget and prior periods, providing insights to management.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with company policies.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting.

2.       Banking & Treasury (Group)

  • Liaise with banks on account operations, financing facilities, and documentation requirements.
  • Prepare and submit required documents for bank transactions, compliance, and credit reviews.
  • Monitor and prepare cash flow forecast and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  • Provide investment analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

3.       Audit, Compliance, Taxes

  • Liaise with external auditors for annual statutory audits and ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
  • Provide audit schedules and supporting documentation, and resolve audit queries promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare corporate tax computation and submission, including coordination with tax agents where applicable.
  • Maintain proper documentation in line with requirements from the IRAS.
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance, or a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience with prior experience as General Ledger and Treasury
  • Experience in Microsoft Business Central is an added advantage
  • IT proficient and familiar with Microsoft suite of products
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
