Job Description
As part of a conditional, binding agreement to acquire another Australian payment services provider, subject to regulatory approvals, we are looking for a Senior Project Analyst to join our Program team.Â
As the Senior Project Analyst you will,âŻprovide oversight and support for the effective delivery of the project workstreamâs outputs and products, ensuring that each project stream within the broader program is executed successfully.âŻÂ
Youâll be responsible forâŻdriving the achievement of strategicâŻobjectivesâŻand benefits,âŻmaintainingâŻdelivery within budget, on schedule, and to the required standard of quality, in alignment with Cuscalâs Project Management and Project Investment Governance and Execution Frameworks.âŻÂ Â
Youâll also make an impact by:âŻÂ
- MaintainâŻintegration governance with clear controls to manage progress, risks,âŻissues, dependencies,âŻassumptionsâŻand resources.âŻÂ
- Coordinate integration tasks with Program outcomesâsynergy, culture, and operationsâunder direction from the Program Director and Integration Lead.âŻÂ
- Provide a consistent and precise overview of integration progress, enabling effective change management and informed decision-makingâŻregardingâŻlegacy systems, processes, and priorities.âŻÂ
- Apply best practiceâŻprojectâŻgovernanceâŻframeworksâŻappropriate toâŻthe ProgramâŻand ensure data hygiene acrossâŻprogram managementâŻsystemsâŻe.gâŻJIRA, Confluence.âŻÂ
- Collaborate with both internal and external teams to develop plans aligned with the agreed scope of work and manage stakeholders and their expectations. Â
- Manage executive reporting cadence to track integration milestones,âŻsynergyâŻtargets, and risk indicators using RAG status and clear stakeholder communicationâŻ(as needed and applicable to the workstream).âŻÂ
- Ensure adherence to projectâŻgovernanceâŻframeworks, templates, and methodologies to drive quality delivery.âŻÂ
- Support Program budgetâŻmanagement, includingâŻsynergyâŻtracking, transition costs,âŻforecasting,âŻcontingencyâŻand resourceâŻutilizationâŻto ensure alignment with financial plans.âŻÂ
- Review business cases, funding proposals, and change requests for completeness and alignment with scope, schedule, and resource needsÂ
Qualifications
What youâll bringâŻÂ
Youâve got an inquisitive nature with the ability to see the bigger picture; youâve got excellent communication skills and are detail orientated. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about Agile ways of working. âŻÂ
To succeed in this role, youâll have:âŻÂ
- 5+ years of experience performing end to end projectâŻgovernance (PMO)âŻof complex initiatives, covering business, technology and vendor engagement involving multiple industry stakeholders and multi delivery streams of workâŻÂ
- Experience of structured project methodologies, tools and recognised project management disciplines overseeing quality assurance andâŻchange processes and practises.âŻÂ
- Exceptional organisation skills and are skilled in influencing, guiding and facilitating stakeholders and peers with decision making Â
- Tertiary education/degree equivalent and have Prince2/PMP or equivalent Â
Although not required the following experience would be highly desirable:Â Â
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, or in fast-growing environment.âŻâŻÂ
- Financial Services experience in payments and banking.âŻÂ
