Senior Project Manager (18 month FTC)
About this role
Overview
Help shape and deliver the technology-enabled change that will define the future of Screwfix.
Â
As we continue to invest in our growth ambitions, we're creating two brand-new Senior Project Manager roles reporting into our Head of Business Architecture. Sitting within our Technology function, these positions will play a key role in shaping and delivering some of Screwfix's most important strategic initiatives, partnering with senior leaders across the business, including members of the Board, to turn ambitious ideas into reality.
Â
This isn't a traditional project delivery role where everything is already defined. Often, you'll start with a business challenge, opportunity, or emerging requirement and help shape the solution from the ground up. Working closely with Business Analysts, Architects, technology teams, and business stakeholders, you'll lead discovery activities, build business cases, assess options, and create clear delivery plans before guiding projects through to successful implementation.
Â
Working across technology, transformation, business change, process improvement, and operational initiatives, you'll lead high-impact projects that support Screwfix's future growth. Along the way, you'll influence senior stakeholders, navigate complexity, and bring together the right people, processes, and technology solutions to deliver meaningful outcomes.
Â
If you enjoy creating clarity from complexity, shaping technology-enabled solutions, and delivering projects that have a genuine impact on business performance, this is an opportunity to make your mark within one of the UK's leading retailers.
Â
These roles are 18-month fixed-term contract positions.
