The Senior User Experience Designer will play a pivotal role in shaping world-class customer experiences across Autodesk.com and our broader digital ecosystem. This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, visual design excellence, customer-centered problem solving, and emerging AI design expertise. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record designing engaging customer-facing experiences that drive discovery, consideration, learning, purchase, and long-term engagement. They will bring deep experience crafting compelling digital experiences across web, ecommerce, content, and multimedia channels, while helping Autodesk explore the future of AI-enabled customer journeys, intelligent content experiences, and video-driven engagement. 

Success in this role requires balancing customer needs, business objectives, and technical possibilities while delivering high-quality experiences that are visually compelling, measurable, and scalable across a global audience. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities
 
 

  • Lead the design of customer-facing experiences across Autodesk.com and related digital touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive and engaging end-to-end experience. 

  • Drive visual experience, quality and interaction design excellence, establishing high standards for usability, accessibility, storytelling, and brand expression. 

  • Partner closely with marketing, content, and digital commerce teams to create experiences that support customer acquisition, engagement, education, and conversion. 

  • Design and prototype AI-enabled customer experiences, including intelligent content discovery, personalization, conversational experiences, and workflow augmentation. 

  • Explore and define innovative approaches to content creation, multimedia storytelling, and video-driven customer engagement experiences. 

  • Translate customer insights, business objectives, and behavioral data into compelling digital experiences that improve engagement and measurable business outcomes. 

  • Contribute to the evolution of Autodesk's digital ecosystem by identifying opportunities to modernize experiences through emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and new interaction paradigms. 

 

Minimum Qualifications  
 

  • 5+ years of professional experience designing customer-facing digital products and experiences (B2C experiences, B2B experience is a plus) 

  • Demonstrated expertise designing modern web and .com experiences, including customer acquisition, engagement, ecommerce, learning, and conversion journeys. 

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design excellence, interaction design craft, and execution across customer-facing digital products. 

  • Proven experience designing AI-enabled experiences, including intelligent workflows, generative AI applications, personalization, conversational interfaces, or content discovery experiences. 

  • Experience partnering with marketing, content, and digital commerce organizations to deliver customer-centric experiences. 

  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling prototypes, storytelling artifacts, and experience concepts that communicate future-state visions and influence stakeholders. 

  • Strong understanding of customer behavior, digital engagement metrics, and experience optimization techniques. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  

  • Bachelor’s degree in interaction design or related field 

  • Experience in ecommerce - B2B and B2C 

  • Experience with Agile software design methods  

  • Experience with Autodesk or comparable competitive products  

  • Experience designing for large-scale .com ecosystems and global digital platforms.  

  • Experience with content strategy, digital storytelling, or multimedia experience design.  

  • Experience leveraging AI tools and workflows to accelerate design, content creation, and customer engagement.  

  • Experience working closely with digital marketing, brand, content, and growth teams.  

  • Experience designing customer acquisition and retention experiences.
