Ā About the role:Ā 

You'll be the strategic architect behind content that connects iconic brands with contemporary culture. Based in Kingston, UK with hybrid working arrangements (min. 3 days per week on-site), you'll oversee social strategy and execution for the brand across UK. Your strategic vision will transform brand messaging into cultural currency, ensuring our products don't just participate in conversations but help define them.Ā 

You'll be the strategic orchestrator behind social-first approaches that elevate brand presence in the digital landscape. Working at the intersection of cultural relevance and commercial objectives, you'll translate consumer insights into compelling content strategies that resonate with diverse audiences, whilst also overseeing a team of organic social media managers to create best in class organic social strategies. We're looking for someone who can identify golden opportunities within cultural movements, finding innovative ways to embed our brands authentically into the conversations that matter. Success means building a cohesive social ecosystem where creativity, cultural relevance and commercial results work in perfect harmony. Ā 

What you will be doing:Ā 

  • Define and execute ambitious content strategies that position a range of beloved food brands at the heart of cultural conversationsĀ focusing on organicĀ social, butĀ feeding into influencer and paid strategies.Ā Ā 
  • Be a strategic partner with our client and their agencies. Day-to-day expert and advisor to brand teams. Feed into wider marketing and campaign decisions.Ā Ā 
  • ProvideĀ strategic guidance on influencer agency partnerships and deliver informed recommendations toĀ optimizeĀ collaboration and performance.Ā 
  • Lead aĀ teamĀ comprisingĀ of 3 x Social Media ManagersĀ 
  • Drive performance, insight and optimisations across social channels and strategiesĀ 
  • Oversee influencer activity Ā 
  • Create frameworks and guidelines that ensure consistent quality across always-on content, influencerĀ partnershipsĀ and reactive momentsĀ Ā 
  • Spearhead the integration of GenAI technologies that enhance creative outputs whileĀ maintainingĀ brand authenticityĀ Ā 
  • Collaborate with insights and analytics teams to continuously optimise performance and apply learningsĀ to elevate social content and channelĀ perfmanceĀ 
  • Transform client briefs into innovative social approaches that deliver against both brand and commercial objectivesĀ Ā 
  • Shape the evolution of our social offering as platforms and audience behaviours evolveĀ Ā 
  • Stay ahead of emerging cultural trends toĀ maintainĀ our brands' cultural relevanceĀ Ā 
  • Deliver work that builds measurable brand love while driving commercial performanceĀ 
  • Connect everythingĀ ā€œsocialā€Ā together – orchestrate the social ecosystem across organic, influencer and paid so always-on content, and campaigns, sing in harmony.Ā Ā 

What you need to be great in this role:Ā 

  • A track recordĀ demonstratingĀ 6-8 years of success in senior social media leadership, with strong experience across consumer brands or content-focused agenciesĀ Ā 
  • Strategic thinking that connects cultural insights to measurable business outcomesĀ Ā 
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams whileĀ maintainingĀ excellence in fast-paced environmentsĀ Ā 
  • ExpertiseĀ in enterprise-grade social management platforms (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Meltwater or similar)Ā Ā 
  • Experience managing integrated campaigns across Instagram, TikTok,Ā YouTubeĀ and emerging platformsĀ Ā 
  • A talent for translating complex strategic thinking into clear, compelling presentationsĀ Ā 
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders with confidence and authorityĀ Ā 
  • An eye for cultural movements before they become mainstream trendsĀ
