As a Software Engineering Senior Advisor, you will design and sustain scalable data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and strategic insights across the organization. Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve a conformed enterprise data warehouse that delivers reliable, accessible data for analytics and business intelligence.
  • Develop scalable, high-quality SQL and software solutions aligned to technical designs and business outcomes.
  • Enable seamless ingestion and processing of foundational and operational data, including integration from POS systems and mainframe platforms.
  • Proactively identify and resolve data gaps, job failures, and processing issues using established recovery processes to minimize downstream impact.
  • Provide hands-on production support for batch operations, partnering with PSO and cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution and system stability.
  • Validate and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of enterprise data assets through testing and quality checks.
  • Build and optimize batch job workflows, ensuring efficient execution and operational reliability.
  • Contribute to enterprise data initiatives that drive actionable insights and business value.
  • Create clear and concise technical artifacts, including design documents, implementation plans, DB change requests, and test cases.
  • Support UAT activities, resolving data-related issues to ensure successful delivery.
  • Implement and maintain mainframe deployment processes aligned with enterprise standards and controls.
  • Collaborate with App Data and Integration (DBX) teams to ensure data alignment with enterprise models.
  • Enable modern integrations by implementing Teradata Foreign Tables for Databricks connectivity.
  • Conduct source-to-target analysis, schema management, and controlled mainframe releases.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Proven experience building and supporting enterprise-scale data solutions and pipelines.
  • Strong experience developing Teradata SQL scripts and executing via BTEQ / BTQMAIN.
  • Hands-on experience preparing and executing database change requests (DBCRs).
  • Experience supporting UAT and developing test cases to validate data and functionality.
  • Practical experience with mainframe and data technologies, including:
    • COBOL, JCL, REXX
    • FILEAID, FILEMASTER
    • BTEQ, FASTLOAD, MULTILOAD, XPORT
    • Endevor, DFSORT, ICETOOL
    • NDM, FTP, SFTP
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting batch processing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience within large-scale healthcare or financial data environments.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ALM, HPSD/HPSM, XPEDITOR, and enterprise batch systems.
  • Experience working in regulated, data-intensive environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner across technical and business teams.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 130,200 - 217,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
