Job Description

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or any Engineering, advanced degree a plus 

* Strong programming skills in Shell & Perl scripting 

* Knowledge of SCM concepts (code lines, branching, merging, integration, versioning, etc.) 

* Technical Project Management experience utilizing ITIL service management practices 

* 7 or more years of professional experience in managing Build and Release engineering, in both UNIX & Windows operating systems 

* Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills 

* Clarity and precision in verbal and written communications 

* Ability to work with customers, developers, testing, project management and support staff 

* Familiarity with various SDLC methodologies like waterfall, modified waterfall and Agile 

& frameworks for managing development processes like Scrum & Kanban 

* Experience acquiring in-depth understanding of large complex software systems to isolate 

defects, reproduce defects, assess risk and understand varied customer deploymentsTechnical proficiency in most of the following tools and platforms: 

* SVN (Subversion) 

* Clear Quest 

* GIT STASH 

* JIRA 

* Jenkins 

* Maven 

* Nexus 

* Sonar 

* CAST 

* Puppet 

* VMware - VCloud automation center 

* Oracle
