You'll own the full subcontract lifecycle — from RFP through closeout — on government and defense programs. You're fluent in FAR/DFARS, comfortable negotiating with suppliers, and sharp enough to keep procurement files audit-ready while supporting fast-moving program teams.Â

YOU WILLÂ
Pre-AwardÂ
- Support make/buy decisions and sourcing strategiesÂ
- Prepare RFPs, RFQs, and bid packagesÂ
- Evaluate supplier proposals, pricing, and termsÂ
- Conduct price and cost analysesÂ
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, SOWs, and terms & conditionsÂ
- Draft and execute subcontracts and purchase agreementsÂ

Post-AwardÂ
- Administer subcontract performance and manage changes, modifications, and funding updatesÂ
- Monitor supplier compliance with technical, quality, and schedule requirementsÂ
- Resolve contractual issues and disputesÂ
- Support program management teams on supplier performance mattersÂ
- Coordinate across engineering, quality, supply chain, finance, and legalÂ

ComplianceÂ
- Flow down applicable prime contract requirements to subcontractorsÂ
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, and CPSR requirementsÂ
- Maintain procurement files and audit-ready documentationÂ
YOU HAVE:
- 3–7 years of experience in government contracting, aerospace/defense, or procurementÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Contracts Management, Finance, Economics, or EngineeringÂ
- Working knowledge of FAR Parts 12, 15, 16, 31, 44, and 52; DFARS clausesÂ
- Experience with cost-reimbursement, fixed-price, and T&M contract typesÂ
- Hands-on experience with contract lifecycle management tools — SAP, Costpoint (Deltek), NetSuite, or Oracle a plusÂ
- Strong negotiation skills across pricing, T&Cs, and change ordersÂ
- Ability to manage dozens of active subcontracts and track deliverables, funding, and compliance deadlinesÂ
- Clear communicator — comfortable with suppliers, program managers, engineers, and government customers alikeÂ

- Salary range: Â $ 80,000 to $116,000
