About this role
Reports to: Production Manager
Service manager will oversee an assigned territory of contract & company owned wean to finish sites.
Responsibilities & Duties:
ļ§ Train & manage farm staff to ensure proper production practices are followed.
ļ§ Initial inventory & assessment of newly placed pigs.
ļ§ Marketing ā weekly projections & selection of pigs for market.
ļ§ Work with maintenance dept. to ensure all site maintenance is current.
ļ§ Ability to troubleshoot & adjust ventilation.
ļ§ Accessing health issues and the ability to perform on farm diagnostics.
Requirements:
ļ§ Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
ļ§ Excellent organizational & time management skills.
ļ§ Prior swine management experience.
ļ§ Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
