Overview of the Role
The Technical Recruiter (Officer level) will support day-to-day hiring for IT roles within the Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. This role focuses on end-to-end recruitment, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.Â
The ideal team member has hands-on experience recruiting for technical roles and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.Â
Major Responsibilities:
Sourcing and ScreeningÂ
- Create and implement sourcing initiatives to reach potential candidates Â
- Source candidates for Technical Roles (Service Desk, QA, Developers, Network/Infra support, etc.) using job boards
- Endorsed qualified candidates to hiring managers promptlyÂ
- Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during hiring events.Â
- Coordinate and implement tech job fair initiativesÂ
Recruitment CoordinationÂ
- Conduct initial screening and interview to assess qualifications, experience, and basic technical fitÂ
- Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teamsÂ
- Ensure candidates are updated throughout the recruitment processÂ
- Assist in managing interview feedback and next stepsÂ
- Design interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements and apply interview techniques and evaluation methods to better assess the candidatesÂ
- Responsible for meeting hiring goals by filling the vacancies with candidates that meet the set qualifications.Â
Pipeline ManagementÂ
- Build and maintain a steady pool of candidates for recurring rolesÂ
- Keep candidate records updated in ATS and trackersÂ
- Support ongoing and urgent hiring requirements across accountsÂ
Offer and Pre-employment SupportÂ
- Assist in offer discussions and documentationÂ
- Work closely with other recruiters, hiring managers, and leadersÂ
- Provide reports/updates on candidate status and hiring progressÂ
- A graduate of BS Psychology, BSBA major in HRDM, BS Information Tech, and other related coursesÂ
- With at least 2 years’ experience as technical recruiterÂ
- Understands IT roles and terminologyÂ
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms and Boolean search Â
- Experience working in shared services set-upÂ
- Strong sourcing and screening skillsÂ
- Good communication and coordination skillsÂ
- Organized and detail-orientedÂ
- Able to manage multiple roles and prioritiesÂ
