About the RoleÂ
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Officer to join our Ground Handling Training Team. In this role, you will support Ryanair with the delivery of initial, recurrent, and compliance training across ramp and back-of-house operational departments.Â
You will play a key role in ensuring our workforce is trained to the highest safety, regulatory, and operational standards, contributing to safe, efficient, and compliant airport operations.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Deliver engaging classroom and practical training across ramp and BOH functionsÂ
- Conduct initial training, refresher courses, and competency assessmentsÂ
- Identify training needs through operational feedback, audits, and performance dataÂ
- Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentationÂ
- Produce training reports and support audit and compliance activitiesÂ
- Work closely with Safety & Compliance, Operations, and Management teamsÂ
- Support the development of a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindsetÂ
- Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve high performance standardsÂ
About YouÂ
You are a confident and engaging trainer with a passion for developing people and maintaining high safety standards in a fast-paced aviation environment.Â
Essential RequirementsÂ
- AET (Award in Education and Training) or equivalent training qualificationÂ
- Previous experience delivering training within an aviation environment including Headset and pushbackÂ
- Strong understanding of airport ground handling, safety procedures, and compliance standardsÂ
- Experience delivering both theoretical and practical training sessionsÂ
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
- Ability to influence, coach, and develop operational teamsÂ
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detailÂ
- IT literacy (MS Office and training record systems)Â
DesirableÂ
- Train-the-Trainer ADPMÂ
- Experience with Dangerous Goods trainingÂ
- Knowledge of CAA/EASA regulations or IATA standards hold a CINÂ
- Experience supporting audits or compliance programmesÂ
- Design and develop lesson plans, training materials, and assessments in line with regulatory requirements (e.g. CAA/EASA/ICAO where applicable)Â
