Lower Bucks Hospital is a community hospital, serving the Lower Bucks County region with medical, surgical, and emergency care. Located in historic Bristol, Pennsylvania, the Hospital is well-known for its knowledgeable medical staff, including cardiology, orthopedics, radiology, wound care, and general surgery. The hospital has more than 200 physicians on staff, as well as another 700 employees.
Responsibilities
Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience1. RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.2. Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.3. Previous experience preferred.4. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.5. Proficient computer skills
